Beyond clinical practice, our program emphasizes interdisciplinary leadership. By incorporating MBA and MHA coursework, we empower MSN students to master the administrative and financial complexities of modern medicine. This fusion of expertise sets our graduates apart as versatile innovators in healthcare management.

The Master’s Degree Program in Nursing at Southwest University is pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). Applying for accreditation does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted.

The Commission acted to continue the current grant of accreditation through February 28, 2029.

Admission Requirements

BSN Degree

Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Foreign Transcript Evaluation

Required for all candidates with educational credentials from outside the U.S.

Professional Interview

A panel interview with the nursing faculty to assess leadership potential.

Graduation & Status

GPA Requirement

Cumulative grade point average must be maintained for successful program completion.

Credits Per Term

Full-time enrollment status is required to progress through the cohort-based model.
