Nursing Scholarship
Southwest University Nursing Scholarship Guidelines
Southwest University, in partnership with First Light Federal Credit Union, is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to support and recognize the hard work and dedication of our current nursing students.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, professionalism, and commitment to the nursing profession.
All application materials must be submitted by:
Friday, July 18th, 2025
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Current enrollment in the Nursing Program at Southwest University
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- An attendance rate of 95% or higher
- Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the Nursing Program
- Submit a completed scholarship application
- Include one letter of recommendation from a faculty member, clinical instructor, or academic advisor
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Scholarship recipients will be selected by an award committee based on eligibility, academic merit, attendance, and overall professionalism.
